Establish close working relationships with business representatives and IT. Achieve long term win-win relationships with our clients.

Accountability.

CCG takes full responsibility for project management, requirements definition, process design, application design, solution prototyping, development and quality assurance. Client personnel are involved throughout the entire process but CCG takes full responsibility.

Communicate frequently.

Conduct weekly team meetings with business representatives and CCG project managers. Prepare team meeting agendas and produce meeting minutes with action items assigned to individuals (we harness the positive social pressure of the team). Frequent high quality communication improves project outcomes while controlling project costs.

Understand the business problem.

Work with business representatives to develop comprehensive business requirements. Don't ask the business representatives for the solution; rather understand the desired outcomes including the pain of the current process. Identify and document the business rules and current processes. Focusing on understanding the business problem leads to lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Estimate the costs.

Develop detailed project cost estimates in order to set realistic project scope and understand tradeoffs.

Enhance the business process.

Achieve the desired outcomes while minimizing cost and the elapsed time to complete a process cycle. Enhance the business process to achieve solid internal controls, data integrity, security and privacy.

Automate the superior business processes (not necessarily the existing processes).
